Software Engineering Intern – Hevis Pro Hire

Role Overview We’re looking for a Software Engineering Intern who is serious about learning full‑stack development and wants to work on a live SaaS product. You’ll work closely with the Founder/CTO and our full‑stack engineer to build and improve features across our React + Node.js + PostgreSQL stack. What You’ll Do Assist in building frontend components and screens using React (forms, tables, dashboards). Implement and test small backend APIs using Node.js (Express/Nest or similar). Work with PostgreSQL for basic CRUD queries and schema updates. Fix bugs, improve existing features, and add small enhancements. Write simple unit/integration tests for critical flows. Collaborate with the full‑stack engineer on code reviews and best practices. Document features and small technical decisions (in Notion / README / comments). What We’re Looking For Strong basics in JavaScript and at least one frontend framework (React preferred). Basic knowledge of backend development in Node.js (or similar). Understanding of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL etc.). You have built at least 1–2 projects (personal/college) – can be portfolio, mini app, or final year project. Comfortable using Git/GitHub for version control. Good problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn fast. Nice to Have Experience with HTML5 & CSS3 (responsive design, basic layouts). Exposure to TypeScript, unit testing, or Agile/Scrum. Interest in AI/ML or WhatsApp automation. What You’ll Get Real‑world experience in a live SaaS product (HR tech / ATS / HRMS).
